our volunteer firefighters
All we can
do is sit and wait
To hear of the dangers our firefighters take.
They risk their lives to save others,
And treat each other just like brothers.
They take on fires in forests and structures
Not to mention the floods and injured persons.
Wrecks and fire alarms are daily things,
Unless it's a calm week, which is very strange.
You can always count on them in a crisis
To lend a helping hand, they're some of the nicest.
It's very seldom they will turn you down,
Unless the manpower is not around.
These are our firefighters, and I'm not lying,
If someone needs help, they're in there trying.
