On the 11th day of the 9th month in the First year of the 21st century
Daddies kissed their children good-bye Under the clear blue sky
No one knew of what to expect As they got to the house,
And the bells went out The call came in "All companies,
respond World Trade Centre, high-rise fire On the 90th floor of North Tower".
None of New York's Bravest knew that the tower and her sister would
become Towers of death to over 300 of their brothers.
Nor did the wives and children as they said good bye to daddies and mommies,
sons and daughters under that black smoke stained sky on the 11th of the 9th month,
Remember always will the
People of our great states.
