This Poem is by one of our members at the Fire Department.

These colors will fly,
But they will never run

In time they will fade
But their work is never done

Born under the shadow of its grand wave
Americans must stand now, be resolute and brave

To keep the standard and quality of this life
We must now endure terrorist stress and strife

The horrors pain and sorrow on us they have wrought
Sends a battle cry through us, terrorist must be caught

The Presidents words spoken eloquently and simply
Sent shivers of pride racing through me

From terrorism just men will seek to be free
Bring our enemy to justice or bring justice to our enemy

I fear we have awakened a sleeping giant
These sage words were spoken once before

Terrorists can you hear us softly knocking at your door?
Now the sleeping giant awakes once more.
